Job summary

Bayside Council is seeking a skilled Coordinator Major Projects to lead a portfolio of multi-million-dollar capital works and community infrastructure. You will work with Councillors, executives, contractors and community stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with Council objectives.

You will mentor senior project managers, oversee procurement, contracts and governance, and report to Executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Seasoned leader with experience delivering major capital works.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-value construction contracts and manage risks.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Prepare reports for Executive leadership and Councillors.
• Lead and develop a high-performing major projects team.
