Transport for NSW is seeking a Transport Operations Planner - Events for a temporary full-time role at Eveleigh, NSW. The position supports planning and delivery of operations for NSWs major events, ensuring safe and efficient transport while minimising disruption to the network.

You will develop transport management plans, coordinate with internal teams and operators, and apply planning insights to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Competenze

• Experience in transport or operational planning enables well-coordinated event outcomes.
• Strong track record in stakeholder coordination and communication.
• Willingness to work flexibly including outside standard hours to support major events.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain transport management plans for major events, including bus scheduling, service adjustments and disruption management
• Coordinate with internal teams, transport operators and government agencies to support integrated event planning outcomes
• Apply planning, operational and network insights to support safe, efficient and customer-focused transport solutions
• Contribute to risk identification and support the implementation of processes that minimise operational and safety risks
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to policies, procedures and planning approaches
• Assist with the delivery of major events, including supporting operational teams and contributing to post-event improvements
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to support collaboration and effective planning outcomes
• Support governance and compliance requirements across planning and operational activities.
