Transport for NSW is seeking a Transport Operations Planner - Events in Eveleigh, NSW, for a temporary full-time role to support major events and complex operations. The role focuses on developing transport management plans, coordinating with agencies and operators, and ensuring safe, efficient services during high-impact events.

Qualifications

• Expertise in transport or operational planning enables delivery of well-coordinated event outcomes.
• Strong track record in coordinating among multiple groups to balance priorities and achieve outcomes.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving to support planning decisions in dynamic environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain transport management plans for major events, including bus scheduling, service adjustments and disruption management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, transport operators and government agencies to support integrated event planning outcomes.
• Apply planning, operational and network insights to support safe, efficient and customer-focused transport solutions.
• Contribute to risk identification and support the implementation of processes that minimise operational and safety risks.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to policies, procedures and planning approaches.
• Assist with the delivery of major events, including supporting operational teams and contributing to post-event improvements.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to support collaboration and effective planning outcomes.
• Support governance and compliance requirements across planning and operational activities.
