Job summary

MSS Security Pty Ltd in Victoria is seeking an experienced Rostering Coordinator – Major Events to support high-volume rostering for summer major events and a new events contract. This 3-month role requires close collaboration with the Major Events team in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate staffing and timely allocations.

You will manage rosters, monitor leave and absences, liaise with Operations to meet staffing needs, and help optimise rosters for service quality and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Experience rostering large staffing groups with short notice changes.
• Strong understanding of workforce coordination and resourcing.
• Experience using rostering systems (Rolecall or similar).
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage rostering for major events and contracts.
• Support resourcing for summer major events and new contracts.
• Maintain rosters in Rolecall (or equivalent).
• Monitor coverage for leave, vacancies and unplanned absences.
• Liaise with Operations and Major Events to meet staffing needs.
• Optimise rosters for service delivery and cost efficiency.
• Report overtime, roster variances, and coverage gaps.
• Ensure staffing data accuracy, including licences and training.
• Maintain continuity of service during peak periods.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including weekends.
