We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and drive equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement at our Lidcombe site.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in moving our maintenance function from reactive to proactive, improving equipment performance and reducing unplanned downtime. Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop maintenance tradespeople and contractors.
- Drive preventative, predictive and reliability-centred maintenance.
- Improve equipment reliability, availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise production disruption.
- Manage maintenance work orders through the CMMS.
- Drive continuous improvement across plant and equipment.
- Monitor OEE, downtime, MTBF, MTTR and planned maintenance compliance.
- Partner with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, quality, GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades and commissioning.
About you
You are a hands-on, solutions-focused leader who enjoys developing people and solving problems at their source.
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline.
- Previous maintenance supervision experience within food, beverage, dairy, FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of preventative, predictive and reliability-centred maintenance.
- Experience using CMMS for maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of GMP, HACCP and WHS requirements.
- Reliability Engineering or Asset Management experience/qualifications.
- Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement.
- Predictive maintenance experience, including vibration analysis, thermography or oil analysis.
- Exposure to automation, PLCs and modern manufacturing technologies.
