The successful candidate will perform general maintenance, respond to requests, and work with contractors in a retail setting, contributing to asset reliability and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or facilities maintenance.
• Practical building maintenance skills and fault identification.
• Ability to work safely, independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general building maintenance, minor repairs and preventative maintenance across the asset.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, identify defects and implement rectification works.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, fixtures, fittings, equipment and common areas.
• Assist with upkeep of plant rooms, back-of-house areas and building infrastructure.
• Identify hazards and maintenance issues and opportunities to improve asset presentation and functionality.
• Coordinate with specialist contractors and support planned maintenance activities.
• Accurately record maintenance activities, work orders and outstanding issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with WHS requirements and site procedures.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused service in a retail environment.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on Casual Maintenance Technician to join the facilities team at a premium retail destination in Perth’s Northern Suburbs.

This is an opportunity to work within a high‑profile retail environment where presentation, safety and operational reliability are paramount. Working alongside the site operations team and specialist contractors, you will play an important role in maintaining the asset to a high standard, responding to maintenance requests and ensuring the centre remains safe, functional and welcoming for retailers, customers and visitors.

The successful candidate will bring a practical, solutions‑focused approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake general building maintenance, minor repairs and preventative maintenance across the asset.
