Novotel & ibis Balikpapan are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. The role supports the Chief Engineer in maintaining the hotel facilities, plant and equipment, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Applicants should have at least 12 months in building maintenance, preferably in hospitality, with basic computer skills and good written and spoken English. Trade qualifications are preferred, and sponsorship is not provided.

Formación

• Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in general building maintenance.
• Previous experience working in hotel / resort / hospitality settings is preferred.
• Qualifications in a Trade is preferred.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good levels of written and spoken English.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in maintaining the hotel, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings.

In addition, they will protect the hotel and ensure it remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and other team members.
