Job summary

KONE Launceston in Tasmania is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain elevators and escalators across Northern Tasmania. You will join a high-performing Service team, engaging with customers and ensuring safety and quality on every job.

The role requires a registered electrical licence, a full Australian driver’s licence, and the ability to handle breakdowns with a customer-focused mindset while working within KONE policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our high performing Service team in Launceston, Tasmania. You will be providing servicing and maintenance of elevators and escalators, across various projects throughout Northern Tasmania.

What will you be doing?

• Attending to maintenance activities and repairs
• Attending breakdowns on Elevators & Escalators
• Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
• Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region
• An ability to start/finish at flexible times and work after-hours as required

What are we looking for?

• Registered electrical licence required
• Valid full Australian drivers licence
• Experiencing managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder’s expectations
