Job summary

KONE Launceston in Tasmania is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain elevators and escalators across Northern Tasmania. You will join a high-performing Service team, engaging with customers and ensuring safety and quality on every job.

The role requires a registered electrical licence, a full Australian driver’s licence, and the ability to handle breakdowns with a customer-focused mindset while working within KONE policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered electrical licence required.
• Valid full Australian driver’s licence.
• Experience managing critical breakdowns and stakeholder expectations.
• Motivated and self-starter who can manage workload and competing priorities.
• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Attend to maintenance activities and repairs.
• Attend breakdowns on Elevators & Escalators.
• Follow KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers in the local region.
• Be flexible with start/finish times and after-hours work as required.
