Preventative Maintenance - aerospace/medical for heat treat & industrial equipment

This highly valued and mission-critical maintenance role will be responsible for the regular upkeep of heat treat equipment and furnaces, inventory management, preventative maintenance programs, and special projects as assigned.

Working closely with ownership and senior management, this role will implement preventative maintenance programs and hire a support team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair all process and facility equipment and machinery
• Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, including repairs and calibrations
• Fabricate equipment or components, which may include carpentry, forming, bending, rigging, and welding
• Oversee all aspects of equipment and facility operations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Hire and supervise additional staff as needed

Requirements:

• Associates degree or certificate in engineering preferred but not required
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, ideally in a heat treat or similar plant environment
• Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn
• May be asked to work extended hours and/or weekends occasionally
• Ability to drive a forklift
