Job summary

Pool Pro is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines, plant and facilities operating safely and reliably.

This role requires someone who wants to understand how the machinery works, not just respond when it stops. You’ll diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, assist with installation and general repairs, and work with operators and contractors to minimise disruption.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or repairing machinery in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a methodical approach to fault finding.
• A willingness to learn our equipment and understand how it is used by operators.
• The ability to organise your work, follow a maintenance schedule and keep accurate records.
• A practical, safety-conscious approach to varied site work.
• Highly regarded: TIG welding and other fabrication skills; an electrical licence; and a forklift licence.

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair production line machinery and packaging equipment
• Learn how each line operates so you can identify the cause of faults and improve reliability
• Follow the preventive maintenance program and record completed work through SiteDocs
• Assist with the installation and setup of plant and machinery
• Carry out general facilities maintenance and practical handyman jobs
• Complete fabrication and welding work within your skills and qualifications
• Work with operators, managers and contractors to plan repairs and minimise disruption
• Follow site safety procedures, including equipment isolation before maintenance
