Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its site in Kewdale, Western Australia. You will lead a technical team in performing reactive and proactive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.

You will supervise maintenance technicians, deliver preventive maintenance programs, manage safety initiatives, and coordinate with contractors to ensure smooth facility operation. The role requires strong leadership, trades background, and experience with automation and material handling

Qualifications

• Formal trade qualifications and relevant licences; electrical or mechanical trade background.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, FMCG, manufacturing or logistics.
• Leadership experience supervising multi-trade teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience mentoring and developing technicians.
• Experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
• Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record tasks.
• Experience in contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Maintenance Technicians by motivating, guiding, and directing them to achieve goals.
• Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs and facility contractor management.
• Act as an ambassador for safety and promote safe working across the site.
• Manage maintenance-related purchase orders and inventory for maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot MHE systems including power distribution and conveyance.
• Engage with site leadership, participate in meetings and steering committees.
