AWH Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance at our Brooklyn site in Melbourne. The role ensures plant, equipment, facilities and infrastructure are maintained safely, reliably and efficiently to support uninterrupted operational performance.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership to maintenance personnel and contractors, prioritising planned and reactive work while ensuring compliance with safety requirements and regulatory

• Trade qualification in an appropriate maintenance discipline.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance for plant, machinery, equipment, buildings and site infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and operational disruptions, coordinating effective troubleshooting and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, risk assessments, permits, isolation requirements and relevant regulatory obligations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify defects, hazards, reliability risks and improvement opportunities.
• Manage external contractors, including inductions, licences, permits, safe work methods, quality documentation and completion of required paperwork.
• Monitor maintenance expenditure, manage spare parts and consumables, and support cost‑effective procurement and inventory control.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Safety, Quality and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance windows and minimise disruption to site activities.
• Promote a positive safety culture by leading by example, reporting hazards, addressing unsafe practices and participating in safety meetings and audits.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations regarding equipment condition, repair requirements, replacement needs and capital improvement opportunities.
• Participate in site improvement projects, installations, upgrades and commissioning activities as required

Reporting within Operations Management, this permanent full-time role is responsible for ensuring plant, equipment, facilities and infrastructure are maintained safely, reliably and efficiently to support uninterrupted operational performance.

The Maintenance Supervisor will provide hands‑on leadership to maintenance personnel and contractors, prioritising planned and reactive work while ensuring all activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements, relevant legislation, site procedures and quality standards. This role requires strong technical judgement, effective planning skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.
