CBRE Asia Pacific in Melbourne, Victoria, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee reactive and planned maintenance on site. You will lead 5+ technicians, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and compliance in GMP/healthcare environments, and drive efficient building operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of supervisory experience in a maintenance role.
• Trade qualifications or carpentry experience relevant to building repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and safe work practices.
• Experience in a structured commercial environment with preventive maintenance.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Experience leading maintenance operations in GMP/healthcare/manufacturing or other regulated settings.

Responsabilités

• Supervising the Maintenance team on site.
• Overseeing day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance; maintaining records.
• Reviewing assigned work orders and coordinating resources.
• Estimating time and materials for repairs.
• Troubleshooting and repairing buildings and installed systems.
• Installing and modifying building equipment systems as required.
• Ordering materials and supplies and ensuring timely completion.
• Maintaining lighting systems, replacing bulbs and lamps.
• Responding quickly to emergencies to minimise downtime.

The role will be responsible for managing all reactive and planned maintenance activities onsite, including leading a team of 5+ maintenance technicians and coordinating subcontractors delivering maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising the Maintenance team
• Supervising day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Reviews assigned work orders.
• Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
• Reviews work orders, estimates time and materials needed to repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies.
• Maintains lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

• Previous experience of team supervision
• Suitable Trade qualifications or experience with building repair/carpentry work
• Knowledge and safety awareness around electrical work.
• Experience with general repairs and maintenance in a structured commercial environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience leading maintenance operations in a GMP, healthcare, manufacturing or other highly regulated environment.
