Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods, a premier Australian beef and protein producer, seeks a Stores Officer for its Maintenance team at the Kilcoy facility in Queensland. You will handle stock control, spares, and materials to support maintenance operations and minimize downtime.

You will maintain registers, manage stocktakes, and ensure accurate receipt and return of items, while collaborating across the organisation and maintaining safe housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Must have previous maintenance stores experience or maintenance background.
• Stock Management experience – MEX experience highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when challenged.
• Promote and work to continuously improve systems and processes to best practice.
• Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• High level of knowledge in Microsoft Office suite.
• Unlimited working rights within Australia.
• Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organisation for maintenance spare parts and materials.
• Manage daily Maintenance Store activities and maintain registers.
• Keep spares and materials in correct locations and ensure timely restocking and housekeeping.
• Conduct rolling stocktakes to monitor stock levels.
• Assess usage of maintenance parts and advise management on best outcomes.
• Receipt delivered materials accurately.
• Ensure items sent for repair are accompanied by Work Orders.
• Re-enter repaired items into the MEX catalogue after return.

Job description

We are looking for a Stores Officer to join the Maintenance team at our Kilcoy facility t o perform operational stock control activities for the coordination of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials to facilitate efficient supply and enable the delivery of business outcomes as a result of minimal downtime due to maintenance related issues.

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organisation to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials.
• Manage daily Maintenance Store activities, ensuring all registers are maintained.
• Maintain the condition of all spares and materials by ensuring they are stored in the correct location and deliveries are re-stocked in a timely manner and ensure good housekeeping is maintained.
• Manage stock levels by completing rolling stocktakes.
• Critically assess the usage of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials within control and manage for best outcome and provide recommendations to management.
• Accurately receipt delivered materials.
• Ensure items to be sent for repair are accompanied by Work Orders
• Ensure repaired items are entered back into the MEX catalogue once returned.
