Job summary

McDonald’s Australia is looking for a maintenance team member to help keep the restaurant clean and ready for trade. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will handle internal/external cleaning, equipment upkeep and site safety, and assist with ad hoc tasks to prepare the store for guests.

The role suits a well-organised, autonomous individual who pays attention to detail, with readiness for early mornings and the ability to engage with customers and contractors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for Customers and the restaurant team.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is well functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure from potential hazards.
• Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment including, but not limited to the bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
• Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
• Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks when requested by the Management team.
