Job summary

City Integrated Maintenance Services is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to work independently across Melbourne Metro West and Geelong sites, delivering a broad range of maintenance services including carpentry, painting, tiling and shopfitting. The role operates within a planned maintenance program supported by our systems and team.

You will manage tasks with minimal supervision, maintain safe work practices, communicate effectively with partners, and thrive in a self-managed team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a similar role.
• Drivers Licence and ability to operate across sites.
• Construction or metal trades experience.
• Experience working under limited supervision.
• Strong building fabrication knowledge.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Trade qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide repairs and maintenance services to our Partners.
• Work across multiple disciplines, including carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, plastering, painting and tiling.
• Work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues.
• Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships.
• Be conversant with OHS guidelines and experienced in the maintenance of safe workplaces.
• Work within self-managed teams.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity will require the successful candidate to work independently, across multiple sites, while providing a broad range of maintenance services. The role will include but is not limited to internal and external building maintenance, painting, site enhancement work, shopfitting works and the construction and repairs of furniture.

The Maintenance Specialist manages their works via a planned preventative and reactive maintenance program with the support of our purpose build systems and the wider City Team.

Your cluster will be based in the Melbourne Metro West area including Geelong.

Your key responsibilities will include:

To be considered for this role you will have / be:
