Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for our Moorebank site in Sydney. You will operate on a rotating 12‑hour day/night roster, maintaining, installing and repairing high‑availability automated material handling systems to keep operations efficient.

Based at our Moorebank facility, you will diagnose faults, address downtime, and support continuous improvement while documenting performance and collaborating with the Service team to deliver quality,

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience working with automated or industrial systems in a maintenance or service environment.
• A methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair automated material handling systems to ensure high availability and safety.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and system faults to minimise downtime.
• Respond to reactive service calls and proactively address issues during your shift.
• Analyse system performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and performance records and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior technicians, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the Service team to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused outcomes.

Working on a rotating 24/7 roster, you’ll be part of a rapidly growing team using market‑leading automation technology in a permanent, full‑time role.
