Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Moorebank (Sydney) is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to support the reliability of our advanced automated material handling system. Based at our state‑of‑the‑art site on a rotating 12‑hour day/night roster, this permanent, full‑time role offers career development and a strong safety culture.

You will maintain, modify, and repair electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical systems, respond to service requests, and act as a key technical contact

Qualifications

• A‑Grade Electrical License is mandatory.
• Experience in service/maintenance in industrial or automated environments is required.
• Familiarity with PLC control systems and industrial networks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, and repair electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical systems across site.
• Respond promptly to service requests to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
• Act as a key technical contact during incidents, supporting internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, incident, and system performance records.
• Follow health, safety, and compliance requirements including PPE and LOTO procedures.

As an Electrical Service Technician based at our state‑of‑the‑art automated picking solutions site in Moorebank, Sydney, you will support the reliability and performance of a highly advanced Automated Material Handling System. Working on a rotating 24/7 roster, you’ll be part of a collaborative, fast‑growing technical team maintaining cutting‑edge automation technology in a permanent, full‑time role.

Your Impact:

Maintain, modify, and repair electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical systems across site

Respond promptly to service requests and reactive calls to minimise downtime and maintain productivity

Act as a key technical contact during incidents, supporting internal and external stakeholders

Anticipate faults and proactively address issues before they elevateMaintain accurate and detailed maintenance, incident, and system performance records

Follow and promote all health, safety, and compliance requirements, including PPE and LOTO procedures

Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and high service quality

What makes you a great fit?

A‑Grade Electrical License (mandatory)

Experience performing service and maintenance activities in industrial or automated environments

Familiarity with PLC control systems and industrial networks (desirable)

Previous experience with automated material handling systems or ASRS is highly regarded

A methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting and workflow execution

Flexibility and willingness to work rotating 12‑hour day and night shifts
