Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Moorebank, NSW, is seeking a Deputy Shift Lead for our highly automated site. You will support the Shift Leader, coordinate daily maintenance and operations, and help maximise equipment availability in a 24/7 operation.

This hands-on leadership role requires technical expertise in automation and a proven ability to coach technicians, analyze diagnostics, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• Qualification in mechanical, electrical, automation, or mechatronics.
• Experience in automated warehouses, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Previous leadership or mentoring of technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analysis of equipment diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Leader in coordinating daily maintenance and operations.
• Lead and coach technicians with hands-on guidance.
• Respond to faults, outages, and escalations to maximise availability.
• Monitor maintenance activities using the CMMS and report effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Support achievement of KPIs related to system performance and customer satisfaction.

• Support the Shift Leader in coordinating daily maintenance and operational activities across the site.

• Support the achievement of key performance indicators related to system performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
