Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks an Electrical Service Technician for our Moorebank site in Sydney. You will maintain and repair electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical systems on a cutting-edge automated material handling system, working a rotating 12-hour roster.

Applicants should hold an A‑Grade Electrical License and have experience in industrial or automated environments. PLCs, industrial networks, and ASRS exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• A‑Grade Electrical License is mandatory.
• Experience performing service and maintenance activities in industrial or automated environments.
• Familiarity with PLC control systems and industrial networks is desirable.
• Previous experience with automated material handling systems or ASRS is highly regarded.
• A methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting and workflow execution.
• Flexibility to work rotating 12‑hour day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, and repair electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical systems across site.
• Respond promptly to service requests and reactive calls to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
• Act as a key technical contact during incidents, supporting internal and external stakeholders.
• Anticipate faults and proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance, incident, and system performance records.
• Follow and promote all health, safety, and compliance requirements, including PPE and LOTO procedures.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and high service quality.

As an Electrical Service Technician based at our state‑of‑the‑art automated picking solutions site in Moorebank, Sydney, you will support the reliability and performance of a highly advanced Automated Material Handling System. Working on a rotating 24/7 roster, you’ll be part of a collaborative, fast‑growing technical team maintaining cutting‑edge automation technology in a permanent, full‑time role.

Your Impact:
