Job summary

WesTrac Kalgoorlie seeks a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to join under the MPA contract. You will create 7–14 day maintenance plans, coordinating with the workshop and customer to ensure planned work aligns with production.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, AMT coordination, POs, and CPS-driven improvements. You will liaise with the Maintenance Planner and Contract Supervisor to ensure effective handover and accurate AMT data.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, coordination or scheduling roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle priorities.
• Understanding of equipment maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Confidence in engaging and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and report incidents per WesTrac policy.
• Manage AMT daily, oversee machine-hour reporting, and secure POs.
• Support and train the team as AMT subject matter expert and contribute to reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and CPS adoption within the maintenance team.
• Plan, schedule and resource weekly maintenance and repairs, manage backlog.
