SKG Services in Cairns, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team. You will maintain the presentation and functionality of our facilities while delivering high standards of service to clients and staff.

The role requires safe work practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team. You will perform scheduled maintenance, operate and care for equipment, and help create a clean, safe environment across our centres.

Qualifications

• Must hold appropriate licenses for operating elevated work platforms.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and maintenance equipment operations.
• Self-motivated and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform programmed maintenance to ensure all facilities and services are operational and meet safety standards.
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to safe work practices at all times and contribute to a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the centre, ensuring high standards are met.
• Attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for customers, staff and others.
