Job summary

Elderly Care is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our Bundaberg Aged Care facility on a full-time basis. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks, from simple repairs to larger projects, ensuring high workmanship standards and customer satisfaction.

You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, communicating clearly with residents, families and contractors to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance and hands-on tasks across building trades.
• Skill set includes carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring, or general handyman tasks.
• White Card is advantageous for site work.
• Police Check is required for this role.

About you

• Competence in performing various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects
• Previous hands-on experience in handyman, commercial maintenance, building, or construction industries
• Skills in carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring, property maintenance, or handyman tasks
• Experience in facility maintenance
• Possession of a White Card is advantageous
• Successful completion of a Police Check is required
