Yarranlea Limited is seeking a Maintenance Officer on a casual basis (6 hours per week) in Mount Gravatt, QLD. You will maintain facilities, perform repairs, and support day-to-day operations, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role offers potential progression to part-time after a 3-month probation. Candidates with hands-on maintenance experience, tools proficiency, and a strong sense of responsibility are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• Experience in maintenance/handyperson roles.
• Practical skills in maintenance and building systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Current driver’s license is desirable.
• Blue Card or ability to attain Blue Card.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs, servicing, and inspections of building systems, fixtures, and fittings
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and facilities as required
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and storage areas for tools and materials
• Support the overall operations team to ensure facilities remain in optimal working condition

Yarranlea Limited is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our team on a casual basis - 6 hours per week. Potential to move to a part-time role after probation period - 3 months. This role is based in Mount Gravatt, QLD 4122 and offers the flexibility of casual work whilst contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and properties. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our premises are maintained to the highest standards, addressing repairs and maintenance issues promptly, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs, servicing, and inspections of building systems, fixtures, and fittings

• Current driver's license is desirable
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in maintenance
• Blue Card registered or ability to attain Blue Card
