Job summary

ADM Midland, Ontario flour mill seeks a Maintenance Millwright to uphold equipment reliability, support preventive maintenance, and respond to after-hours calls. This hourly unionized role involves shift work, some weekend work and callouts.

You will read drawings, repair and tune conveyors, hydraulics, and related machinery, while maintaining safety and quality standards in a live production environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial millwright trade certification required with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and process equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical failures on production lines.
• Repair, rebuild and maintain plant equipment to spec.
• Work as a reliable team member with minimal supervision.
• Recommend equipment upgrades to boost reliability and performance.
• Read equipment drawings and document changes.
• Handle after-hours calls and shift work as required.
