Job summary

Ben Furney Flour Mills in Dubbo is seeking skilled maintenance technicians to maintain plant, equipment, and facilities on a daily basis across afternoon, night shifts, and rotating weekends. This full-time role emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration with Production and Maintenance teams.

You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical serviceability of production lines, preventive maintenance, and supporting project work to improve efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within a safety-driven plant maintenance environment.
• Experience as a maintenance tradesman in a production setting.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Competence in welding and fabrication for production line maintenance.
• Proven ability to plan and execute maintenance with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant, equipment, and facilities on a daily basis at the Dubbo Mill site.
• Conform to Safe Operating Procedures and support safety culture across shifts.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Lead and participate in maintenance procedures and project work to improve reliability.
• Supervise contractors on site to ensure safety and minimal disruption.
