Job summary

Maintenance Manager role based in Perth, WA, overseeing maintenance for a major drill and blast contract supporting approximately 90 operational staff. This is a critical leadership role focused on equipment reliability, safety compliance, and efficiency.

You will plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance strategies across the fleet and site infrastructure, manage parts and services for Caterpillar machinery and Sandvik drill rigs, and drive continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on HSEQ.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of maintenance management experience.
• Proven ability to develop and optimize fleet maintenance strategies.
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ standards and safety practices.
• Proficiency with Caterpillar and Sandvik equipment.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team and oversee all maintenance activities for a major drill and blast contract, supporting approximately 90 operational staff. This is a critical leadership role ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance strategies across our fleet and site infrastructure. You'll manage parts and services for a range of equipment, including but not limited to Caterpillar machinery and Sandvik drill rigs, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans for drill and blast equipment.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in maintenance management within mining or civil projects.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of maintenance management experience is required.
• Proficiency in developing and optimising fleet maintenance strategies in line with OEM and industry standards.
• Strong technical knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and Sandvik drill rigs.
• Experience with the MEX maintenance management system (or similar CMMS) is highly preferred.
• Mechanical trade qualification is required for this position.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results.
• Knowledge of HSEQ standards and best practices.
• Full Australian Working rights is required for this position.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and site clearance to work in WA Gold Mining

Location: Perth-based role with occasional site travel
