Job summary

Axxion Search is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a sizeable maintenance function within a major regional Queensland manufacturing operation. This role focuses on strengthening preventative maintenance systems, driving reliability, and creating a proactive maintenance culture.

You will report to the Site Engineering Manager and lead a multidisciplinary team of 25+ including supervisors, tradespeople and technical specialists.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and maintenance planning.
• Strong leadership, communication and commercial awareness.
• Experience using CMMS and maintenance data to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team of 25+ people and manage site maintenance outcomes.
• Improve planning, scheduling and preventative maintenance performance.
• Strengthen maintenance culture and accountability across the team.
• Collaborate with Production to optimize plant availability and performance.
