Job summary
Etex Australia is seeking a proven maintenance leader to join the Beenleigh site and lead maintenance and engineering across the manufacturing operation. The role requires strong technical capability, plus outstanding people leadership to build a high-performing team, improve reliability, and maintain a strong safety culture.
You will drive preventative and predictive maintenance, manage planning, scheduling, capital projects, budgets, and contractor relationships, and contribute to site
Qualifications
- Significant maintenance leadership experience within Australian manufacturing, processing or heavy industrial environment.
- Engineering qualifications and/or a trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitting & Turning or related discipline.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build engagement and accountability.
- Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability, uptime and maintenance performance.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
- Experience delivering capital projects and managing contractor relationships.
- Sound understanding of safety, quality and environmental systems within manufacturing.
- Experience with SAP or CMMS maintenance systems will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance and engineering activities across the manufacturing site.
- Build and develop a high-performing maintenance team focused on safety, reliability and accountability.
- Drive preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise plant uptime.
- Lead continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the operation.
- Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and execution.
- Deliver capital projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Manage contractors, permits and compliance requirements.
- Develop maintenance, engineering and capital expenditure budgets.
- Optimise spare parts inventory and maintenance systems.
- Contribute to site leadership, operational performance and strategic planning initiatives.
