Job summary

Talent is seeking a practical Maintenance Leader for our South-Western Sydney facility, responsible for ownership of the maintenance function and leadership on the factory floor. You will plan, budget and drive reliability improvements with an experienced team and established equipment.

The role offers ownership of maintenance performance, opportunities across a major manufacturing group, and benefits including health insurance discounts, purchased annual leave and novated leasing.

Qualifications

• Mech or electrical trade or engineering qualifications.
• Maintenance leadership experience within packaging, FMCG or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and budget management skills.

• Hands-on approach when required.

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer with an extensive national presence and a strong commitment to sustainability. Their South-Weastern Sydney facility is one of the group’s highest-volume sites, offering a rewarding challenge for a practical maintenance leader.

The role:
Take ownership of the maintenance function, combining visible leadership on the factory floor with planning, budgeting and reliability improvements. You’ll work with an experienced team and established equipment, using your technical judgement and resourcefulness to deliver lasting results.

• Mechanical or electrical trade or engineering qualifications.

• A confident, approachable leadership style that earns respect and builds trust.
• A positive, practical approach to solving problems, including getting hands-on when required.

Corrugated packaging experience will be highly regarded.
