Job summary

Yancoal Australia is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Blackwater, Queensland to lead the maintenance workforce across mobile and fixed plant equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will oversee scheduling, budget, and continuous improvement initiatives while driving leadership, operations, and environmental/safety controls in a mining setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in associated discipline.
• Applicable Coal Competencies.
• Senior First Aid or higher.
• S1,2,3 & G2.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong SAP knowledge & Microsoft Project skills.
• Skilled in risk assessment, hazard identification & highly responsive to safety issues.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the maintenance workforce in a safe and cost-effective manner (in association with mobile and fixed plant equipment maintenance activities), in order to achieve a high degree of reliability.

• Degree or Diploma in associated discipline

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and knowledge of the QLD Coal Mining Legislation and howit is related to maintenance applications
• Experienced in managing and maintaining personnel rosters within a mining environment
• Previous experience in providing leadership to effect project and operational success in relation tomaintenance applications within an Open Cut Mining environment
