Job summary

Yancoal Australia Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance workforce across mobile and fixed plant equipment, driving safe, cost-effective performance and high reliability in a coal mining environment.

Responsibilities include leadership, financial management, operations, and safety & environment, with a strong emphasis on open cut mining context and compliance with Queensland mining standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in associated discipline.
• Applicable Coal Competencies.
• Senior First Aid or higher.
• S1,2,3 & G2.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong SAP knowledge & Microsoft Project skills.
• Skilled in risk assessment, hazard identification & safety issues.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the maintenance workforce in a safe and cost-effective manner (in association with mobile and fixed plantequipment maintenance activities), in order to achieve a high degree of reliability.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and knowledge of the QLD Coal Mining Legislation and howit is related to maintenance applications
• Experienced in managing and maintaining personnel rosters within a mining environment
• Previous experience in providing leadership to effect project and operational success in relation tomaintenance applications within an Open Cut Mining environment
