Modus Projects is expanding and seeks an experienced HVAC Technician for preventative and reactive maintenance across NSW sites, including Albury region. Role involves travel daily and potential after-hours roster.

You will work with a coordinator, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and deliver reliable service while maintaining thorough records. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Formal HVAC or refrigeration qualifications required (Certificate III/IV).
• Valid driver’s license and ARCtick refrigerant license.
• Ability to work across multiple sites within a 300km radius.
• Current national police check and medical assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Travel between various job sites daily.
• Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative & reactive maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Our head office will manage your schedule with support from your coordinator.
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors and project managers to complete HVAC projects efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and keep detailed service records.

HVAC Technician - preventative maintenance& reactive maintenance

About the Role

As part of our national expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable HVAC Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis in various locations.

This role will also be required to do overtime when required and be part of an after-hours Roster to meet our client needs.

You will be responsible for:

• Travel between various job sites daily, including Retail and Petroleum locations.
• Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative & reactive maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Our dedicated head office team will manage your schedule, and you will have support from your own coordinator.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and project managers to complete HVAC projects efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain clear communication with clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed, including reports and service documentation.

Locations we are recruiting for:

• Albury - Candidate will be travelling within a 300km radius from this location

Key Requirements:

• Formal qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration, such as a Certificate III or IV in Airconditioning & Refrigeration
• Current ARCtick National license for fluorocarbon refrigerants
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably a background in commercial HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process
