Job summary

CV Services Group in Brisbane is seeking a practical Multi-Skilled Maintenance / Handyperson to tackle a variety of minor construction, maintenance and make-good works. You don’t need trade qualifications; hands-on experience and the ability to work across different tasks are valued.

You’ll perform concreting, carpentry, patching, painting, installing bulkheads, window panels, roof flashings and more, with a strong safety focus and pride in finishing work properly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a handyman, property maintenance, facilities maintenance or general construction role.
• Practical experience across minor carpentry, concreting, patching and painting.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Confidence working independently across varied tasks.
• Good practical problem-solving skills.
• A strong safety focus.
• A flexible, team-focused attitude.
• Good attention to detail and pride in finishing work properly.

Responsibilities

• Minor concreting, including small concrete plinths and basic formwork.
• Minor carpentry and general building works.
• Removing window panels and installing prepared timber block-out panels.
• Installing and painting air-conditioning bulkheads.
• Minor plasterboard, FC sheet, brick and block patching.
• Sanding, painting and general make-good works.
• Installing prefabricated aluminium condenser cages and wall brackets.
• Installing roof flashings, trims, upstands and over-flashing.
• Assisting with other minor maintenance and construction works as required.

Are you the sort of person who can turn your hand to just about anything?

We’re looking for a practical, experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance / Handyperson who is comfortable tackling a wide variety of minor construction, maintenance and make-good works.

You don’t need to be trade qualified. What matters to us is that you have solid hands-on experience, know your way around a worksite and are confident jumping between different types of jobs.

What you’ll be doing

Your work will be varied and may include:

• Minor concreting, including small concrete plinths and basic formwork
• Minor carpentry and general building works
• Removing window panels and installing prepared timber block-out panels
• Installing and painting air-conditioning bulkheads

What we’re looking for

We’re not looking for someone who specialises in only one area. We want a genuine all-rounder who is happy to have a go and has experience across a mix of maintenance and construction activities.
