Alpha Nobis FM Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a trade-qualified or experienced handyman to join our facilities maintenance team. You will perform general building maintenance, minor carpentry, painting, and basic service tasks across multiple sites.

The role requires independent scheduling, strong problem-solving, clear communication with clients, and a White Card OH&S. Valid driver's license preferred; previous facilities maintenance experience across commercial environments is valued.

Competenze

• Trade-qualified or strong handyman background.
• Experience with general repairs and maintenance in a structured commercial environment.
• OH&S card (White Card) and valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Carry out general building maintenance and repairs
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials needed to repair, order materials
• Minor carpentry, patching, painting and basic service works
• Preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly
• Maintain high workmanship and customer service standards
• Liaise with Project Managers and report on completed works

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general building maintenance and repairs


• Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.


• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.


• Reviews work orders, estimates time and materials needed to repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies.


• Minor carpentry, patching, painting and basic service works

About you

• Trade-qualified (preferred) or strong handyman background

• Proven experience working across multiple sites or in facilities maintenance


• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communication and client-facing skills


• Valid driver’s licence
