Qualifications

• Proven experience with maintenance and repair jobs in a similar role.
• Strong all-round trade skills, particularly carpentry and painting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair works, including carpentry, minor plumbing and minor electrical tasks (within licence limits).
• Install, repair and replace fixtures and fittings (doors, locks, windows, cabinetry, shelving, etc.).
• Patch, repair and paint walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
• Carry out basic tiling, grouting and waterproofing repairs.
• Diagnose issues and recommend practical repair solutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding work required, progress and completion.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian standards, building codes and WHS requirements.
• Complete job documentation, photos and reports as required.
