Job summary

Flavorite is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Groundsman to join our team, keeping farm grounds, plant, and equipment in top condition. This is a role for someone who takes pride in a well-presented site and enjoys varied, physical outdoor work.

You will maintain grounds, assist with servicing, apply whitewash, manage waste, and support weed and pest management, using CMMS system to close out work orders.

Qualifications

• Hold a current driver\'s licence.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Tractor operation experience (desirable).
• Chainsaw operation experience (desirable).
• Skid steer/excavator experience (desirable).
• Working at Heights ticket (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain farm grounds to a high standard (mowing, trimming, paddock management).
• Assist with servicing and general maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Apply and remove whitewash to production requirements.
• Manage farm waste, ensure site cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with weed control and pest/disease management to protect crops.
• Use CMMS (MEX) system to complete and close out work orders.

What you will be doing and delivering

Flavorite is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Groundsman to join our team, keeping our farm grounds, plant, and equipment in top condition. This is a role for someone who takes pride in a well-presented site and enjoys varied, physical outdoor work.

• Maintain farm grounds to a high standard, this includes mowing, trimming, and keeping paddocks slashed and clear
• Assist with servicing and general maintenance to keep plant and equipment in reliable working order
• Apply and remove whitewash to meet production requirements
• Manage farm waste effectively, keeping the site clean and hazard-free
• Assist with the weed control program and pest/disease management activities to protect crop health
• Use the CMMS (MEX) system to complete and close out assigned work orders

What you will bring to the role

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, safety-conscious, and enjoys working as part of a team. You bring strong mechanical aptitude, sound judgement, and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to follow instructions and get stuck into a range of tasks around the farm.
