Job summary

Flavorite, Australia’s largest glasshouse producer of fresh, premium produce, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Groundsman to keep our farm grounds, plant, and equipment in top condition. This is a role for someone who takes pride in a well-presented site and enjoys varied, physical outdoor work.

You’ll perform outdoor maintenance, operate and service equipment, manage waste, assist with weed control, and use the MEX CMMS to close work orders, contributing to safe and efficient site operations.

Qualifications

• Hold a current driver's licence.
• Forklift licence is highly desirable.
• Experience operating tractors or heavy plant is desirable.
• Chainsaw operation experience is desirable.
• Experience with skid steer or excavator is desirable.
• Working at Heights ticket is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain farm grounds to a high standard including mowing and paddock upkeep.
• Assist with servicing and general maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Apply and remove whitewash to meet production requirements.
• Manage farm waste and keep the site clean and hazard-free.
• Support weed control and pest/disease management activities.
• Use the CMMS (MEX) system to complete and close out work orders.

What you will be doing and delivering

Flavorite is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Groundsman to join our team, keeping our farm grounds, plant, and equipment in top condition. This is a role for someone who takes pride in a well-presented site and enjoys varied, physical outdoor work.

Maintain farm grounds to a high standard, this includes mowing, trimming, and keeping paddocks slashed and clear

Assist with servicing and general maintenance to keep plant and equipment in reliable working order

Apply and remove whitewash to meet production requirements

Manage farm waste effectively, keeping the site clean and hazard-free

Assist with the weed control program and pest/disease management activities to protect crop health

Use the CMMS (MEX) system to complete and close out assigned work orders

What you will bring to the role

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, safety-conscious, and enjoys working as part of a team. You bring strong mechanical aptitude, sound judgement, and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to follow instructions and get stuck into a range of tasks around the farm.
