Lutheran Services in Buderim is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Officer to support Immanuel Gardens Retirement Living, ensuring facilities, gardens and shared spaces are safe, functional and well presented.

You will manage day-to-day maintenance, perform preventative tasks, supervise external contractors, and help create a welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors. Experience in gardening is essential and aged care or retirement living experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping, preferably in aged care or retirement living.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and customer-service focus.
• Valid Police Check and Queensland Driver’s Licence and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.

Maintenance & Grounds Officer - Retirement Living

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Officer to support the upkeep of our Immanuel Gardens Retirement Living community, ensuring facilities, gardens and shared spaces are safe, functional and well presented.

Location: Buderim - QLDRole Type: Part-Time (60 hrs fortnight) | Tuesday to Friday | 7:30 am to 3:36 pm
Remuneration: $29.45 - $31.11 ph + Supe + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefits

About The Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll manage the day-to-day maintenance of buildings, gardens, and grounds, ensuring everything is safe, tidy, and well-kept.

Key responsibilities include:

• General maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens, and common areas
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaning
