Job summary

Timbertruss is seeking a skilled fitter to join a 16-person maintenance team across three shifts in Geelong, Victoria. You will handle breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and drive hands-on improvement projects on sophisticated automated equipment.

The role offers a permanent day shift with real job security and a starting rate of AU$40.55/hr, with tools, uniform and PPE provided, plus staff discounts and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cert III - Mechanical Trade (C10 Fitter) is required.
• Hydraulic & pneumatic experience is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding skills are essential.
• Manufacturing maintenance background is expected.

Responsibilities

• Handle breakdowns and preventative maintenance on automated equipment.
• Participate in hands-on improvement projects on CNC machinery, robots, and conveyors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with the maintenance team.
