Qualifications

• Cert III – Mechanical Trade (C10 Fitter) required.
• Hydraulic & pneumatic experience.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Manufacturing maintenance background.
• Welding & fabrication capability is highly regarded.
• CMMS experience (MEX).
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and hands-on improvement projects on sophisticated automated equipment.
• Work within a 16-person maintenance team (fitters, electricians, planner & manager) on a permanent day shift.

Are you a gun maintenance fitter looking for a role where your skills are actually used? We're not after someone to just turn wrenches and go home. Timbertruss runs advanced automated manufacturing — CNC machinery, industrial robots, conveyors — and we need a sharp, experienced fitter who wants real project work, continuous improvement, and a team that knows what they're doing.

Starting rate $40.55/hr | Tools, uniform & PPE provided | Staff discounts at Bowens

The Role Permanent day shift with a 16-person maintenance team (fitters, electricians, planner & manager) across three shifts.

You’ll handle breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and hands-on improvement projects on sophisticated automated equipment.

You'll need:

• Cert III – Mechanical Trade (C10 Fitter)
• Hydraulic & pneumatic experience
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Manufacturing maintenance background
• Highly regarded: Welding & fabrication capability
• CMMS experience (we use MEX)
