Job summary

Ridley Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for our Tamworth manufacturing site. This hands-on role focuses on preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across production equipment.

You will work with Production and Maintenance teams to keep equipment safe, reliable, and efficient. The role involves fitting, fabrication and welding as required, plus maintaining records and following safety, quality and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Current driver's licence and forklift licence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS, welding/fabrication or food/feed/process manufacturing will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused Maintenance Fitter to join our Tamworth manufacturing site.

This is a hands-on role responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and repairs across our production equipment. Working closely with the Production and Maintenance teams, you will help keep equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.
