Job summary

Visy is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to maintain, repair and improve fixed plant and equipment across the recycling operation at our Sydney site.

You will perform mechanical maintenance, fault finding, welding and preventative tasks with a focus on safety and continuous improvement, while supporting planning of daily activities and plant upgrades. This is a day-shift role with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Job description

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving our fixed plant and equipment throughout the recycling operation.

• Shift Details: This role operates on an 8‑hour Day Shift from Monday to Friday plus opportunity for overtime on Saturdays

What you’ll do:
