Job summary

Visy is seeking a Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team in Sydney. You’ll support production and engineering by performing preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and driving continuous improvements to maximise plant performance.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, with safety at the forefront. You’ll contribute to safe, efficient operation of plant machinery and collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Experience in corrugated industries.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

About the opportunity

As a key member of our maintenance team, you’ll work closely with production and engineering to minimise downtime, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold safety and quality standards. Your focus will be on proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to support plant performance.
