Job summary

National Workforce is seeking a skilled maintenance fitter/welder to join a national industrial engineering company based out of Kings Park. You will install and maintain conveyors, packaging machinery, and general engineering equipment, while performing maintenance tasks and reading technical drawings.

You will work safely and collaboratively in a team to deliver high‑quality outcomes, with strong emphasis on safety, time management, and communication.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to perform manual work.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Proven ability to complete work to a high standard.
• Strong understanding of workshop drawings and specifications
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and ability to perform manual work
• Ability to follow instructions and apply appropriate work methods
