Job summary

E.C. Throsby is seeking a maintenance professional to support our food production operations in NSW. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work with varied systems and processing equipment, covering multiple shifts with weekend overtime when required.

Ideal candidates have a background in maintenance, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work unsupervised while supporting fellow staff. A permanent long-term opportunity with progression is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food production environment is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to work across multiple shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to work unsupervised and help other maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain varied processing equipment across production lines.
• Work across multiple shifts with occasional weekend overtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.

Your new role

Your new role will see you reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will be working with varied systems and processing equipment. You will be required to work a number of different shifts to cover all production shifts. Weekend Overtime maintenance will be required from time to time.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience within a food production environment is highly advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
• Looking for longevity in a permanent role, with career prospects.
• Flexible with weekend work
• Be a team member with a can do attitude & work unsupervised
• Prepared to help other Maintenance Staff

Preferred skill set

• Installation of electrical equipment and systems
• Advanced fault finding skills
• PLC & SCADA experience and trouble shooting would be an advantage, but training will be given
• EWPand Forklift License, Working at Heights
• We will also consider4th year apprentices

You will be required to undertake a six-month probation period with a review upon completion.

We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $44- $57 per hour based on skill and experience.
