Spinifex Recruiting is sourcing a Maintenance Electrician for a modern manufacturing facility in Parkes, NSW. This hands-on role covers electrical, control, and communication systems across the site in a fast-paced production environment.
You will fault-find, repair, and optimise equipment, with relocation assistance for non-locals and a focus on safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- NSW Electrical Licence (essential).
- Certificate III in Electrical / Electrotechnology or equivalent.
- Experience with industrial automation systems such as PLCs, VSDs, conveyors, or robotics.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or Allen Bradley (highly regarded).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and a strong safety focus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical, control, and communication faults.
- Perform installation and wiring in line with AS/NZS3000 standards.
- Provide breakdown and emergency maintenance support.
- Complete preventative and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Interpret schematics, PLC programs, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
- Supervise contractors and ensure safe work practices on-site.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
