Job summary

Prestige Staffing Personnel in Mildura is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our established in-house maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis. This hands-on role focuses on day-to-day electrical needs, breakdowns, maintenance, machine moves and smaller projects, with a standard-hours roster.

You will be part of a broader maintenance team, building strong site knowledge and contributing to ongoing reliability of electrical systems across the site.

Qualifications

• Current electrical licence and recognised trade qualification
• Hands-on approach to maintenance
• Willingness to assist with broader maintenance tasks
• Strong reliability and commitment to long-term employment
• Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance staff, site leadership and external contractors
• Industrial/manufacturing experience is highly regarded but not essential

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and breakdown repairs across the site
• Support machine moves and relocate switchboards as production changes
• Complete smaller electrical works and repairs
• Work with external electrical contractor on larger projects
• Provide site knowledge and continuity between internal maintenance and external contractors
• Assist broader maintenance team with general maintenance tasks when required
• Build knowledge of site electrical systems, equipment and processes

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join an established Mildura-based operation on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day electrical needs of the site, including breakdowns, maintenance, machine moves and smaller electrical projects. It is predominantly a standard-hours position, rather than a heavy call-out or 24-hour maintenance roster.

The successful candidate will work as part of the broader maintenance team, building strong site knowledge and becoming a trusted part of the operation.

• A current electrical licence and recognised trade qualification
• A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance
• A willingness to assist with broader maintenance tasks when required
• Strong reliability and a commitment to long-term employment
• The flexibility to work across a varied site environment
• The ability to work collaboratively with maintenance staff, site leadership and external contractors

Experience within an industrial, manufacturing or processing environment would be highly regarded, particularly exposure to switchboards, VSDs or PLCs, however this is not essential. The employer is open to developing the right person's site-specific knowledge on the job.
