Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Biloela site's Maintenance team. The role will maintain the meat processing plant and equipment and support day-to-day production requirements of the business.

Key responsibilities include rebuilding motors, isolation points and emergency stop controls, preventive maintenance, and testing VSDs and PLCs. Opportunities to upskill and progress within meat production, maintenance, or management roles are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read & develop circuit drawings
• Faultfinding experience with VSDs & PLCs
• Current drivers licence
• Knowledge of Instrumentation
• Excellent communications and technical skills

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the meat processing plant and equipment and supporting day-to-day production requirements.
• Rebuilding motors, isolation points and emergency stop controls
• Preventative maintenance
• Installing, connecting and testing VSDs and PLCs
• Faultfinding on package machines
• Switchboards and control systems

Skills

About You

To besuccessfulin this role you will have:

• Ability to read & develop circuit drawings
• Faultfinding experience with VSDs & PLCs;

• Knowledgeof Instrumentation
• Excellentcommunications and technical skills
